 Yoga 

Over the last 10 years, there have been numerous scientific studies to monitor the changes within our bodies when participating in consistent inversions and anti-gravity practices. These include:

  • Anti Aging: Gravity is the biggest enemy when it comes to the signs of aging. Regular inverting and providing fresh circulation supplies nourishment and hydration at a cellular level which will leave your skin firm and have that radiant glow of youth. 

 

  • Digestion: As we know, inverted asanas, such as, "feet up the wall" are great for our digestion! Inverting in an anti gravity stimulates digestive enzymes, encourages elimination, and provides all of your organs relief from the weight of gravity.

 

  • Cognition: Studies have shown brain degeneration which may result in memory loss, dementia, and Alzheimer's have been attributed to a lack of adequate oxygenation to the brain. Inverting improves not only circulation but the oxygenation of the blood. This nourishment to the brain stimulates the creation of neurotransmitters. These very important chemicals aide in the release and balance of hormones and endorphins balancing our emotions and cognitive thinking. 

  • Stress Management: Research shows the human body relaxes up to 35% deeper when inverted. 

 

  • Immune Function: The lymphatic system is responsible for the removal of toxins from our body. Lymphatic fluid must circulate efficiently in order to do its important work. Being inverted allows these fluids to be flushed and boosted improving its vital functioning.

 

  • Spinal Health: When inversions are done with traction, there is evidence it helps to correct subluxations in the spine. It also decompresses the spine creating space between the vertebrae which allows spinal fluid to lubricate the joints aiding in the relief of pressure on discs, relief of back pain, and improving posture. 

CLASS REQUIREMENTS

It is required before attending any suspension yoga classes to participate in the 2 day Suspension Yoga 101 Workshops which are offered once a month. This workshop cannot be paid with any Class Passes or with any Unlimited Memberships. Once you have attended this workshop, you are free to join any suspension classes offered!
